It is not necessary to enter personal data in order to use our website for mere information purposes.
Rather, in this case, we only collect and use your Data to the extent it is automatically transmitted by your web browser. This includes in particular:
• date and time of the retrieval of one of our websites
• time and date of the retrieval of one of our internet pages
• your browser type
• the browser settings
• the operating system used
• the site most recently visited by you
• the transmitted data volume and the access status (file transmitted, file not found etc.) as well as
• your IP address.
With the exception of the IP address, we only collect and use this data in non-personal form in case of a visit for information purposes. This is done in order to allow the retrieval and use of the web pages requested by you.

On our website you can register to receive the Rhett Brewer email newsletter to get regular notifications and other information about Rhett Brewer. You are able to give that consent during the newsletter registration process. Without declaring your consent it is unfortunately not possible to register for the newsletter.

7. Use of Google Adwords and Remarketing
We are using the Google Adwords Remarketing tool provided by Google, Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; „Google“) on this website. With this we can display relevant ads to users of our website if they are visiting other websites within the Google advertising network. The ads shown are based on past visits of our and other websites and by doing so try to cater to your interests. To analyze what websites you are visiting, Google uses the so called DoubleClick remarketing pixels. A pixel is a small, invisible piece of code that is embedded in our website. Google also uses cookies, small text files, which are stored on your device to provide analysis of the use of our website. Within this file Google is storing a character string that captures anonymized data about your use of the website. 8. Use of Facebook Social Plugins & Website Custom Audiences
Our website uses social plugins ("plugins") provided by the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304 , USA ("Facebook"). The plugins are identifiable by a Facebook logo or the addition "Facebook Social Plugin". 9. Use of Technical Service Providers
In the course of operating our website and our online-related marketing, we engage external service providers (e.g. website hosting, support, mailing and marketing services) which provide technical support to us. We have carefully selected these service providers and entered into contractual arrangements to ensure adequate protection of your personal data.
These service providers are strictly bound to our instructions and are regularly examined.
For our newsletter services we are using a service provider from the United States. This data processing also is in accordance with current legal requirements; in particular we have entered into a contract with this service provider from a third country which does not offer adequate data protection on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure adequate data protection.
On our website we may also use a plugin of the service provider Songkick (Songkick.com Ltd., 12-18 Hoxton Street, London N1 6NG) to show you the upcoming tour dates of Rhett Brewer and provide you with links to ticket sales. By visiting our page the Data described in section 3 of this Privacy Policy is collected and used by Songkick to provide you with this service. Songkick uses Google Analytics and corresponding cookies to analyze how their service is being used, for additional information on Google Analytics please see section 6 of this privacy policy. Additionally Songkick employs other subcontractors to perform their services which can also be located in third countries outside the European Union/ European Economic Area which don’t offer adequate data protection. To ensure the protection of your Data we have entered into a contract on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Apart from that a transfer of your Data to third parties happens only to the extend which is described in this Privacy Policy, in case we are obliged by law or specifically legally permitted.
 

10. Data Security
In addition, we have implemented technical and organizational safeguards in order to protect incoming or collected personal data, in particular against accidental or willful manipulation, loss, destruction or against attacks by unauthorized persons. Our safeguards are continuously improved in accordance with technological progress.
